Wardrobe privacy explained: Private, Show only and Open to offers

Saving a garment and sharing a garment are separate choices on Vrool. Your owned items start private. You can decide item by item whether a piece should remain visible only to you or appear in your shared wardrobe.

Open Your Wardrobe, expand Manage item details and privacy, and find the garment. Under Edit details and visibility, review its current visibility before making a change.

  • Private: the garment is not displayed as a public shared wardrobe item.
  • Show only — Not for sale: visitors can see the garment and its photograph, but it has no wardrobe offer action. This is useful for outfit inspiration or pieces you want to keep.
  • Open to offers: visitors can see the item and start an item-related message request. Receiving a request does not sell the garment automatically.

For a public choice, read and tick the confirmation box, then choose Save visibility. Simply selecting a new option without saving is not the completed step. To withdraw a shared garment, change it back to Private and save.

List for sale is a separate handoff to the ordinary Vrool listing editor. You must add the required listing details and photograph and confirm publication there. Opening the editor does not automatically turn your private wardrobe entry into a marketplace listing.

Check your photograph before sharing: keep addresses, receipts with personal details and anything unrelated to the garment out of view. Only share an image you are comfortable making public. Generated try-on sharing has a different confirmation screen and should be reviewed separately.

Would you use Show only for favourite pieces, or keep your wardrobe entirely private?
